Artist Interpretation -
There was a dramatic scene change in Saul’s life when, through the power of Christ, he was changed from a hate-filled man to the love-filled man we know in scripture as Paul. A question followed by action led to a new scene...“And I said, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ And the Lord said to me, ‘Rise, and go into Damascus, and there you will be told all that is appointed for you to do.’” (Acts 22:10) The stage is set, ready for a new act. The world is watching and the Lord has pulled back the curtain...it’s time to take the stage. “Rise and stand upon your feet.”
-“But rise and stand upon your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you,” - Acts 26:16
“Then Joshua said to the people, ‘Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.’” - Joshua 3:5
