Artist Interpretation - 
The verses the Lord gave me while I was praying through this image of a lamp seemed strange at the time, but when He whispered “your story was created to shine”, it began to make sense. As I wrote it all down - I saw the significance. We all have been given a story to share. One that was created to be used as a testimony of light to a world that lives in darkness. The way our story shines the brightest in a very dark world, is when we live it holding fast to the Word. It’s when we let the “grumbling and disputing” fall to the wayside so that our lights aren’t dimmed. It’s when we know that we’ve done all we can to walk in a way that gives off the most light. It’s time to start “shining” our stories for others to see - it’s what we were created to do. 
 
“Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.”  - Philippians 2:14-18
